In 1979, Jim Collins established Collins Undertakers and served the people of Cobh until his retirement in 1997. His grandson James, who had learned alongside Jim for almost 2 decades then took over the business and continued to strongly uphold the family values and build important community bonds,
Still a family run business over 40 years later, each member of the team is committed to providing the people of Cobh with support and guidance at a time when they need it most. The Funeral Home
In 2018, Cahill’s Funeral Home opened to the people of Cobh and the surrounding area of East Cork. The building was lovingly rebuilt and designed to provide the local community with a tasteful and comfortable space to celebrate the lives of their most loved relatives, friends and family. Every aspect of the design was given thorough consideration, from fabrics and furnishings right through to the calming colour scheme and layout of the building. We encourage you to visit us at any time, take a walk through our facilities or simply sit and talk about the plans you wish to make.
